You ever feel like you aren’t enough? Do you ever question what you bring to the table? I was recently feeling like I wasn’t enough. I’m an entrepreneur and whenever I start researching what others have done to become more successful. I find I’m sometimes left feeling like I don’t measure up. It seems to me they have “better” skills than I have.

Have you every wished you had the skills and talents of someone else? It’s not that you can’t recognize your talents it’s just you start to feel like you wish you could trade them in or get an upgrade.

During my “woe is me” session God spoke to me. “Am I enough?” Well, the answer?..of course God is enough. If God is in us how can we not be enough? I was starting to understand. The spirit of God continued to reveal to me not only am I enough, but I am unique. I was given a specific set of skills and talents to use in living out my purpose. This purpose is not my own, it didn’t come from me, but it was given to me by God.

It’s true I can’t do everything, but we were never created to do everything. We are supposed to work with one another. We are to connect with our brothers and sisters in Christ to reveal the glory of God’s kingdom.

Think of it like this. You are a puzzle piece. You are one of countless others pieces, but you are exceptionally unique. There is only a small portion of God’s glory revealed in you. To get the entire picture all of the pieces have to connect, people of faith have to work together.

You have everything you need to do your part. God lives in you, therefore you lack nothing. God is in you, you are enough!

Here are a couple scriptures to help as a reminder:

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Eph. 2:10

You are created by the hands of God. You were made new in Christ through salvation. You are saved for your life’s purpose. This work purposed for you was prepared at the beginning of time. This is before you ever made a mistake or bad decision. God already knew you wouldn’t be perfect, but he chose you anyway. You are made perfect through Christ Jesus. God wants you to live out the purpose of your life.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations. ” Jeremiah 1:5

Before you even existed God knew you. He purified and set you apart as holy. He assigned holy work for you.

Speak these scriptures over yourself a few times a day and remember that you are enough!
